The Ecosystem Gardener
Hi, I'm Brendon. My journey with nature began in my home country of New Zealand. Since childhood, I've had a deep love for wildlife and the natural world. which has guided my career in horticulture and landscaping. I moved to Australia in late 2017 after meeting my partner online.
On arrival, I worked in public parks and gardens and with local landscapers. I also volunteered with conservation organisations, all of which developed my interest in Australian native plants and design. This led me to specialize in creating naturalized water features and habitat gardens.
I am an Aquascape Contractor and a certified water feature builder and I am always excited about projects that allow me to travel and bring my expertise across Australia and eventually the world.
At home, here in Adelaide, SA, I share my life with a wonderful mix of animals: turtles, a bearded dragon, a snake, and my beloved one-eyed dog named Leo. They're not just pets; they're family and part of my commitment to fostering connections between people and wildlife.
My mission is clear: I strive to create harmony between human spaces and the natural world through thoughtful design, biomimicry and ecological principles. Each project I undertake aims to beautify spaces while enriching local ecosystems, leaving a positive impact on both urban landscapes and natural habitats alike.
